Mr. Fernando Vinzons is the Director of Investments at the Cook County Pension Fund. The Cook County Fund (the Fund) is an $11 billion public pension fund serving over 35,000 members and retirees in Illinois. The Fund is invested in domestic equity, international equity, fixed income, hedge funds, public and private real estate and private equity. Mr. Vinzons has been with the Fund since 2009 and has served as its Director of Investments since 2018.
Prior to working at the Fund, he was a senior investment analyst with Driehaus Capital Management, covering mid-cap and small-cap growth stocks. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the Booth School of Business.
